The Oast House in Redditch is a traditional family pub, famous for its fabulous warm welcome and friendly community spirit.  With all the sport and regular live entertainment nights, manager Emma and her team will make sure you feel part of the Oast House extended family.

It’s perhaps the dedication to sport that will surprise you most when you get here.  You would expect a top quality pool table, darts board and state of the art digital screens – there’s seven of them – for a sports pub of this stature and reputation.  And indeed, during the last World Cup, regulars and locals made the best use of these fantastic facilities with England playing to a full house every match.

But Emma takes it further.  For the last ten years, the Oast House has been the home of the Redditch Blues fan club – with an active base of around 60 members who meet regularly in the pub for socials and to support their team whenever Birmingham City FC have a game. Even former Blues midfielder, Paul Tait – now coach and commentator – joins them in support.

The start of the Premier League was met with great excitement with a coach arriving to transport the fans to Bristol for their first home game of the season – a 1-1 draw, which was considered a good result given the recent form for Bristol.

Lynda Courts, Membership Secretary of Redditch Blues says, “I can’t thank Emma and her team at the Oast House enough for the support they’ve given us over the years. They’re really brilliant. And very flexible.  Always working hard to accommodate our needs – anything from a quick, short get together to the full blown AGM with VIP ex-players Q& A.  And of course, during the season, we’re here for every match. They’re just great.”
